After a pretty long trip in Spain, we headed to Istanbul. Taking a taxi from the airport to the city, the scenery I saw made me truly feel like I'd arrived in a different country. But the Blue Mosque looks so purplish in photos at night, no matter how you take them.

The food we ate upon arrival, probably Shish Kebab. I did a lot of research for Spain, so I knew what each dish was right away, but here I don't know... I just ordered whatever looked delicious.

On the 3rd floor of the hostel building, there's a bar, and this is the view from its window. I was surprised that the view here was surprisingly good.

After a simple breakfast, we went to Hagia Sophia. The view from the morning was totally different from the view at night. Istanbul really seems like a cool city. It was a bit disappointing that I couldn't go to the first floor inside Hagia Sophia, and the construction blocked a lot of it. The entrance fee was also way more expensive than I thought... but it was worth seeing.

Basilica Cistern. Even though it's an underground reservoir, they made it so cool. The Romans were amazing.

지난 밤에 본 풍경이랑 아침에 나와서 보는 풍경은 또 다르더라 확실히 이스탄불도 참 멋진 도시인거 같긴해

아야 소피아 내부는 1층은 못 가고 2층에서 보게 해놓은거랑 공사중인게 다 가려놔서 좀 아쉽긴하더라 입장료도 생각보다 너무 비싸고.. 하지만 볼만한 곳이었음

그리고 바클라바랑 터키쉬 커피도 시켰는데 커피는 걸쭉하다고 해야하나 특이한 느낌이었고 엄청 썼음 한국인인 나한텐 스페인에서 먹었던 커피가 제일 맛있었지만 이런 엄청 단 디저트랑 먹을거 생각하면 터키쉬 커피가 맞는거 같긴하다

갈라타 다리 근처에서 낚시하는 풍경이랑 뒤에는 모스크들과 노을이 참 예뻤음 근데 이스탄불 공기는 역시 별로야 엄청 탁해

저녁으로 먹은 쉬쉬?케밥 사실 이름 모르겠음..

여기서도 고양이가 옆자리 와서 잠 자더라

이스탄불은 딴거 안하고 고양이 구경만 해도 시간 잘 갈거 같다

호스텔 들어갔는데 레바논 남자분이 같이 호스텔 위에 있는 바 가자고 하셔서 한국인 여성분도 만나고 같이 얘기 하면서 밤 보내니까 좋았음
