[Exclusive] Jo Hye-ju cast as lead in 'I Am the Sinner'... Will she meet Park Seo-joon and Uhm Tae-goo?

Actress Jo Hye-ju has been surprisingly cast as the main lead in the new drama 'I Am the Sinner'.

On the 2nd, a broadcasting official revealed, "Jo Hye-ju is joining 'I Am the Sinner' as a lead." 'I Am the Sinner' is based on the webtoon of the same name by author Lee Mu-gi, which was serialized in two parts on Kakao Webtoon from January 2022 to January of this year.

The drama is a crime noir set in the 1980s, about a boy named 'Paengi' and 'Ssaengdak' who survive in a lawless city and get entangled with gangsters as they enter the drug business. Actors Park Seo-joon and Uhm Tae-goo have been offered the roles of Paengi and Ssaengdak respectively and are currently reviewing them.

Jo Hye-ju will play the role of Bok-hee.
