Former KIA Tigers pitcher
Park Kyung-tae
delivered a sharp criticism to
Kim Seo-hyun
(
Hanwha Eagles
).
Park Kyung-tae recently appeared on the YouTube channel 'Stock King' and honestly shared his thoughts on Kim Seo-hyun, who played as Hanwha's closer this year.
He pointed out, "I've noticed one thing that many pitchers these days are very different from the past. Their emotional expression on the mound is too excessive."
He added, "Honestly, it's tough, you want to cry, you're frustrated... but the reason most pitchers refrain from such reactions is not for themselves, but for the team." He further stated, "In that regard, I felt a bit more regret for Kim Seo-hyun."
He also criticized the excessive atmosphere of protecting players. Park Kyung-tae said bluntly, "These days, they defend players even when they perform poorly. It's easy to say, 'How hard must it be for them to act like that?' But why do we need to shield adult players who are over 20, earn good money, and are popular so much?" He exclaimed, "If I had received that kind of treatment when I was active, I would have done better."

OMG
"The internet is debating whether Kim Seo-hyun's on-field emotions are 'too much' or just 'letting it out', with some agreeing the player protection is excessive, while others find it funny and anticipate team drama. LOL."
