Currently driving a Model X (June '23).
Didn't even know FSD launched in Korea, saw it on YouTube and freaked out to buy it. I originally only bought EAP, but that was trash. Only used highway lane changes. Review I operate a lot in the Gangnam area, and my life has seriously changed to having a chauffeur. It's possible to exit parking lots, but usually, I just navigate to the parking lot exit myself and then immediately engage FSD.
In alleys, it's a bit slow (assuming there are no cars on the road), but if I just tap the accelerator a little, it's fine. Seoul is almost always congested anyway, so there's no need to speed. I can just sit back and relax.
And as long as your eyes are detected by the camera, you don't even need to put your hands on the steering wheel. You can literally keep your hands in your pockets.
As mentioned in various reviews, it drives without the jerky feeling unique to electric cars, so the ride comfort is truly insane.
I had to go to the provinces today and went to Chungcheong-do and back on a same-day trip from Seoul. The fatigue was just 'fatigue from being in the car', not driving fatigue at all.
Around me, I'm telling everyone to just shut up and buy a Tesla.
I switched from a Model 3 to an X, but honestly, I had higher satisfaction with the 3 (value for money). So I was contemplating switching back to a Model 3...
After FSD came out, I praise myself so much right now.
However, other models will also be released soon, so I just recommend buying a 3 or Y unconditionally.
The used car price has skyrocketed, but I'm thinking of riding it for about a month, selling it, and then reconsidering buying a 3.
"Folks are hyped about FSD but also salty about Hyundai's role and regulations holding it back. Some are jealously eyeing the tech while others are cautiously observing."
