On the Shinkansen returning from Kyoto, amidst the pile of books I was holding, one cover caught my eye, showing a 'back.' I picked it up absentmindedly, and that was my first encounter with 'Look Back.' That night, I read it straight through to the end. Although manga and film are different genres, as a fellow creator, I strongly felt the 'determination.' It hurt to realize that perhaps Fujimoto Tatsuki-sensei couldn't have moved on to his next step without drawing this work. For me, 'Nobody Knows' was that kind of work.
Filming is complete and we're currently in the editing process, but I believe it will be completed as a work that captures very rich things on screen.
