Japan's top 3 self-published novel submission sites.
Kakuyomu (Kadokawa's platform)
It's a platform where you can gain recognition, or even offer parts of your work for a small fee if you choose.
But unlike Korea (don't know about now, but back then)
They're subtly introducing them as if they were written by AI, and submitting them.
You have to go into the author's intro to see it clearly,
That it was written by AI.

Even though these AI-written posts are consistently ranking high for a long time,
And aren't getting blocked,
It makes me wonder if Japan views this differently than we do...
Not sure.
After seeing a few of the top-ranking AI works,
This thought crossed my mind, so I'm writing it down.
잣대로 보고있는게 아닌가...싶기도 하고
모르겠음
상위에 있는 ai작들을 몇번 보다보니
그런 생각이 들어서 적어 봄
"Japanese platform's chill attitude towards AI-written novels is blowing people's minds, with mixed reactions ranging from 'lol, get yours' to 'is that even allowed?' 😂"
