Got choked up by something my dad said today

Lately, nothing's been going right with work and stuff, and I just felt so pathetic about myself on this particular day...

Then this evening, my dad suddenly said this:

"You're always doing great. The reason things are tough is because you haven't run away and have endured."

He's usually someone who never expresses himself But hearing those words, I suddenly just burst into tears. Is it because I'm getting older that I'm getting weaker...?

Today, I felt again how a single sentence from someone can lift you back up.

If anyone else is going through a hard time right now... Seriously, you are enduring so well. You're doing more than enough.
