Going straight to the point, no fluff. My wife handles all the laundry (washing/folding/organizing). My husband has had a habit of throwing his socks (and all other laundry) into the laundry basket since before we got married. My wife warned him multiple times not to just throw them, but to put them *in* the basket. But he didn't change. When my wife does laundry, she can't see the husband's socks that fell behind the basket and just washes them. My husband's socks are mismatched. My wife gets angry every time she folds the laundry and finds mismatched socks. Last week, my wife warned him again not to throw them. My husband wasn't doing it on purpose, it's just a habit, so he forgot and threw them again. My wife folds and pairs her own socks, but she just crumples her husband's socks and shoves them into his drawer. This morning, my husband got mad while looking for his sock pairs. He claims the reason is that the response to a mistake due to habit is too childish, calling it a trivial matter. He blames his wife for lacking attention, saying it's not hard to pick up socks that fell behind the laundry basket.
"Husband's laundry habits causing marital strife, netizens side with the wife and advocate for separate laundry duties."
