5 Hours to Get Home... Never Once Gave Up on Winter Tires...

It took 5 hours to get from Gunpo to Sadang.

I left a little before 8 PM and just got home now.

It snowed so much in a short period that visibility dropped to zero, and the thick snow turned into a slippery ice rink due to temperature fluctuations.

I first saw roads like this during the heavy snowfall in Gangneung, and I never expected to see it in the Seoul metropolitan area.

I spent about 4 hours just stuck on the Gwacheon-Bongdam Expressway. There was road construction on the border of Uiwang and Gwacheon, but the cars were completely tangled on the ice, making it unmanageable.

Unfortunately... many people still don't have winter tires installed and don't know how to drive on ice or snow... 'It's not even that much snow in Seoul... 'Winter tires still slip the same anyway.' 'They clear snow quickly these days, so they're not needed.' 'Don't you know winter tires are even more slippery when it's not snowing?' 'My car is 4WD, so I don't need winter tires!' 'Someone else will just crash into me anyway...'

Regardless of the car model... for the past 10 years, I've only used Nordic winter tires on all my vehicles. This September marked exactly 10 years of driving. In those 10 years, I've driven over 300,000 kilometers and have never once slipped on snow or ice. However, I don't get complacent and always do my best for safety, so as not to inconvenience others. To everyone who made it home safely from this sudden heavy snowfall and commute, you all worked really hard.

과천봉담고속화도로 위에 서 있는 시간만 4시간 가량됐는데

의왕과 과천 경계면에 도로 공사도 하고있긴 하지만

빙판길에 차들이 완전히 엉켜버려서 감당이 안되는 수준이었더라구요

안타깝게도 여전히..많은 사람들이 윈터를 장착하지 않고

빙판이나 눈길 주행 방법을 모른다는 것..

서울에 눈이 뭐 얼마나 온다고..

어차피 윈터껴도 미끄러지는 건 똑같아..

요즘은 제설 금방해서 필요 없어~

눈 안오면 윈터가 더 미끄러운거 몰라?

전 차종 불문.. 10년동안 모든 차량에 노르딕 윈터만 사용하고 있습니다.

올해 9월이 딱 운전한지 10년차 였습니다.

10년동안 30만 키로 넘게 주행하면서

단 한번도 눈길 빙판길에서 미끄러진 적 없습니다.

하지만 자만하지 않고 남에게 피해주지 않기 위해

제가 할 수 있는 안전상의 최선의 노력을 다하고 있습니다.
