


Was studying Civil Engineering at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology (a top-tier engineering school) but dropped out in his 4th year because he wanted to learn cooking.
Then attended CIA (Culinary Institute of America, one of the world's top 3 culinary schools) and dropped out again.
After that, worked at several Michelin-starred restaurants.
But someone asked him to open a restaurant in Korea, so even though he had a green card, he even went and did his military service...
Currently holds 1 Michelin star for Western cuisine and 1 Michelin star for Korean cuisine, holy crap.
