On Saturday, I met up with some friends in Gangnam. They’ve been by my side throughout the long litigation process cheering me on, so I wanted to let them know it was over and treat them to a good meal. Maybe it was the drinks from the night before, or maybe the tension just snapped because the verdict was finally out, but I woke up late on Sunday to a message from my ex. [The realtor called. They're coming at 7 PM tonight. Also, are you going to sell the house or keep living there? If you’re staying after the title transfer, let them know so they can take it off the market.] My first thought upon seeing that was, 'I'm the one living here, why didn't she check with me before setting a time?' Is it because we’re at a point where even basic courtesy isn't necessary? I was supposed to go to my parents' place for dinner tonight. I called the realtor, told them today was no good, and rescheduled for Monday evening. While I was in the shower, a few more messages had arrived.
