It's the pre-bidding period right now, and over 100 people are watching. If the price is already this high, you gotta figure it'll easily cross 50 million won.
When I first started looking at auctions, I just wanted to snag one anime cel. But Ghibli stuff starts at a few thousand bucks, and meaningful ones with good frames can go up to nearly 100k.
Last auction, a signed Guts piece by the Berserk author went for about 80 million won. Akira Toriyama's prices also spiked after he passed, so I bet this easily clears 50 million won too.
It's #1 in pre-bidding right now but that doesn't mean much. There's a ton of Doraemon stuff this time. I collect phone cards, and I'm seeing so many Doraemon ones for the first time—nearly a hundred different kinds. Figures go without saying. I'm just glad I'm not a huge Doraemon fan. So jealous of the rich folks lol T_T
