This is a bit off-topic, but why are there so many people lately who can't tell the difference between a puppy and a dog? Is it because that Kang Hyung-wook guy keeps calling every dog a 'puppy' on TV? Everyone keeps calling their own dogs 'puppies,' but a puppy is a baby dog. People say things like 'my senior puppy' or 'my puppy is 18 years old.' How does that make sense? That's not a puppy; it's a dog. It's a dog. A DOG. Are you going to call a full-grown cow a 'calf' too? Of course not. A puppy is a baby dog, and if it's not a baby, it's a dog regardless of size. If it's a dog, just call it a dog.
"The comment section is a battlefield between linguistic purists who think calling an old dog a 'puppy' is scientifically illiterate and people who think OP is being a total buzzkill over a common term of endearment."
