Decided my first goal for the new year was to finally write this Kawasaki pilgrimage post, so after putting it off forever, I'm locking in to get it done.
(The anime scenes are just Google Maps screenshots, so please understand if the quality isn't great.)
If you became a fan after watching Girls Band Cry, Kawasaki is the one place you'd definitely want to visit.
I was hooked from the moment I saw episode 1 and knew I had to go. As a pilgrimage enthusiast, I searched the web, but the sheer amount of locations was overwhelming.
Luckily, thanks to some hard walking, I managed to hit every single pinned coordinate. The photo order is a bit messy because it follows the route I actually took.
Because there was so much content, I merged them into [Top: Anime / Bottom: My Photo], but the edges got cropped a bit...
Still, I tried my best to capture them exactly as they are, so I hope you GBC-bros can visualize the anime scenes while reading.
Starting off with Club Citta. There's a scene there I love, so I really wanted to include it. Coincidentally, there was a free show on my first day, so I signed up immediately.
Turns out it was an event hosted by some music school/academy, like a mini-festival featuring indie bands formed by their graduates.

I really wanted a shot of these stars on the ceiling, and luckily I got it when no one was walking by.

Since the bands were fresh and didn't have many fans yet, it totally overlapped with TogeToge in the anime, so I actually had a blast.

Major respect to the stamina required to run all the way here from the station.

I wanted to take a pic inside Marufuku if it was empty, but seeing the foot traffic, I gave up.

I couldn't stop grinning like an idiot when I first found this spot lolㅋㅋㅋㅋ

It felt great seeing that both flyers at the bottom were GBC-related. Since it was the recap movie period, it felt like the whole Kawasaki Station was rooting for GBC.

Momoka handing out flyers on this street... that's actually pretty impressive of her...

Even though I knew it was on the 2nd floor, I still got a bit lost... It's near the escalator, so don't panic.
I thought uploading them without merging would make them feel more identical, but with the 50-photo limit, I'd end up having to write way too many posts. I'll probably keep posting the next parts like this.
Hope you enjoyed reading, there's still a lot left so stay tuned!

"Fans are losing it over the high-effort pilgrimage, with some even using it as a guide for their own upcoming trips to Kawasaki. Truly a GBC-bro moment."
