12/29 The day before Comiket. Was busy deciding my route until the last minute, so I only slept 50 minutes. I should've planned this earlier, fuck.

Always arriving early morning or late night, so I rarely see New Chitose Airport fully open lol.

Eating breakfast I bought yesterday while staring at Miku's armpits.

Someone drew Jjureo in the doodle corner lol.

Looks like AirDo is doing a collab with Golden Kamuy, but of course they drew Hijikata gramps... At least Sugimoto was there on the way back, felt reliable.

First time seeing de-icing in person. Don't know what they're spraying, but it was dripping off the wings during takeoff.

Dozed off and spotted Mt. Fuji in the distance. I heard it was big, but seeing it with my own eyes is insane;; I can't even grasp how massive it is.

Entered Haneda and greeted by the grandma. Kuaaaah!

First, downed a Zunda shake. Been missing this since I had it in Sendai.

Immediately ran to Shinjuku.

Omoide Yokocho... been here 3 years ago, still cramped as hell.

Waited about 30 mins for Menya Musashi. It was good... but didn't feel mind-blowing for its fame.

Back in October I transferred to the Odakyu line at Shinjuku, but this time I took the JR to Ochanomizu.

Standing at Shinjuku station, I saw the tracks from Weathering With You lol. Hodaka ran from Mejiro to Yoyogi, so he definitely passed through here, right?

Entered Ochanomizu Station. Honestly not a huge fan of Suzume, but since I'm here, had to take a pic.

Walked a bit and found the destination: the phone booth.

Feeling sentimental... Watched the movie for the 3rd time on Christmas Eve and the aftereffects hit hard, so I had to come.

BLEeeerghhhhh

Ta-da~

Walking down a very familiar road,

Into a very familiar alley,

And the very familiar stairs appear.

Immediately put on my headset and played 'Jane Doe'.

A scene of countless flower offerings.

I left one too. White flowers for Denji, red for Reze.

Just some ordinary stairs, but once a story is imbued, it becomes a special place.

Got to my booked guesthouse and was surprised it looked like a regular house. Dropped my bags, rested a bit, and bolted to Akihabara.

Kyahhh lol. Akiba for the first time in 3 years. As soon as I arrive, Dori greets me. Donyo...

Strolled through Akiba, which still brings a wholesome smile to my face,

Last time I missed Radio Kaikan because they were closing, but this time I licked every corner clean. Went to the Pekora Juice section on the 1st floor and immediately 'Yameru-no-yamero'...

Checked out some stuff and grabbed a quick bite. Somehow, doing otaku stuff makes me less hungry. Is this that 'full just by looking' thing?

Went to an otaku bar called Alchemist for a light drink. Actually wanted to go to '39Party*', a Vocaloid bar, but the day before I arrived was their last day of 2025, fuck.

It's an anisong bar, but not for karaoke; a DJ remixes anisong in the booth.

Drinking and listening, but it was all early 2000s or even 20th-century stuff, so the selection wasn't my vibe... Not sure if it was just that day.

Wandering Akiba again while slightly tipsy. I want to be crushed to death by Tsukuyo's tits...

Heading back to Ryogoku and found the Yostar official shop. These guys push it so hard, so why the hell did they leave Blue Archive out of the corporate booths at Comiket...

Final check of my Comiket plan in the guesthouse common area.

But the guesthouse lady and other guests were talking about deep shit like world peace, Tokyo's shitty rent, and Takaichi... so I just quietly ate the sweet potato sticks they gave me...
"The community is vibing with the pilgrimage, sharing beer recommendations and getting hit with sudden Tokyo travel fever. Some are still recovering from the Chainsaw Man trauma at the phone booth."
