My favorite part of the Mass is when we share the 'Sign of Peace.' When the priest says, 'Let us offer each other the sign of peace,' everyone looks at the people around them and says, 'Peace be with you.' I actually went back to church today for the first time in 3 yearsโwent to confession and attended Mass. Since Saturday evening is the student Mass, the kids (elementary to high school) were in a band, doing the readings, and even walking around the sanctuary high-fiving all the parishioners. It was so heartwarming; connecting with the kids after so long made me so happy. My wife offered a Mass for our family, so hearing my name called out moved me to tears, but they were happy tears. The kids were so innocent and pure, which made me glad. It gave me hope that kids who go to church won't lose their way... I hope those who follow other religions or are non-believers aren't offended, but I'm just so personally happy that I wanted to share. To all my fellow Ou-ers, 'Peace be with you.'
"A wholesome-fest of mutual well-wishing and 'Peace be with you' vibes from the community."
