I thought it'd be great motivation, so I signed up and paid a 3.5 million won ($2,600) deposit. If you cancel midway, that money just turns into a regular membership fee. But when I got home, my husband saw the contract and got so mad, asking why I signed something like this without even talking to him. He says he can't give me permission. He usually hates me showing skin, so I checked to make sure I wouldn't have to wear anything too revealing for the profile shots before signing. I honestly thought my husband was being controlling, but after reading the comments, I realize I should have consulted him first. From my perspective, I didn't see anything wrong with it. The 3.5 million won deposit is apparently to prevent people from getting the free treatments and then refusing to provide photos, and they said they'd refund and re-charge it every month before the payment date. If I want a refund now, I'd have to pay the full price of the treatments I already got plus a 10% penalty, which would be at least 500k won ($370). I'm not a binge eater; I'm just around a size 66 (US 6-8) and wanted to get back to my old body before the wedding, but it wasn't working. I kept getting injured while exercising, so I thought losing fat without exercise first and then maintaining it with light workouts would be better.
