It’s not just NewJeans and HYBE looking like total clowns; K-pop as a whole is becoming a joke. You Pann girls probably know K-pop's reputation is already kinda trash. If idol fan culture is looked down upon in Korea, imagine how bad it is abroad. It was treated as nerd music, B-list, or 'gay-pop,' and it still is. It was finally getting better recently (due to K-pop’s rising popularity, success of Korean movies, K-Dramas, etc.).
