He's a guy from Egypt. It snowed a ton over the weekend and the yard entrance is on a bit of a slope, so I told him to clear the snow. I went to check on him after a while and I was absolutely shocked.
The dude was spraying water with a hose. He said he thought the water would melt the snow.
Ugh, my head hurts... The entire entrance is a slope and now it's a perfect sheet of ice. The cars coming into the yard are all sliding and can't make it up the hill. 3 or 4 car carrier drivers got out and started helping us while laughing at how ridiculous the situation is. I'm frantically scattering calcium chloride, but it's like -9 or -10 degrees Celsius right now, so it won't melt. Sigh...
I mean, sure... it doesn't snow in Egypt... This is probably the first time he's seen snow since coming to Korea... But isn't it common sense that water freezes when it's cold? Or did he really not know because he's never experienced it? It's my fault for not giving detailed instructions. It's my sin, my absolute sin... T_T
