The Seltos full model change officially revealed today.
Length 4,430mm, Width 1,830mm, Height 1,600mm, Wheelbase 2,690mm. It’s bigger and the wheelbase is longer compared to the previous generation, meaning increased space utilization.
Based on internal combustion (gasoline only), a hybrid version is also planned for release.
A combination of an in-line 4-cylinder 1.6L gasoline turbo engine paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission.
The hybrid specs use the same powertrain found in the Niro and Kona.
However, the highly anticipated pure EV version won't be released due to potential cannibalization with the Niro or EV3.
Scheduled for release in Q1 2026.
"The consensus is that the Seltos looks too 'ajussi' (middle-aged dad) thanks to the Carnival/Mohave family design, which immediately devolved into a Seltos vs. Sportage tier war. (Spoiler: everyone picks Sportage if they have the cash.)"
