Sometime ago, the standard Kook-rul (universal norm) of 1,000 KRW for 10 minutes started getting broken, jumping up to 1,500 KRW, then 2,000 KRW, and I just witnessed the most expensive one yet: 2,200 KRW for 10 minutes. The kicker? This isn't some fancy valet crap, this is just a regular ol' building parking structure.
"The consensus is that these fees are basically 'Stay the hell out unless you're a customer' signs, but everyone agrees that dropping a million won on dinner and still paying a separate valet fee is peak bullsh*t."
