The gods are silent. Rivellon bleeds. A new power awakens. Larian Studios, the team that brought you *Baldur’s Gate 3*, is unleashing their ambition to present an RPG wider and deeper than ever before.

Sven Vincke, CEO of Larian Studios: I don't think I've ever been this nervous for an announcement, but here it is—this is our biggest and most ambitious RPG yet, and I can't wait to show it to you!!!

Michael Douse, Director of Larian Studios: The name is Hellstone. We feel increasingly disconnected from physical reality, so we wanted to create a monument where not only our international teams could gather, but the entire gaming community could too. We wanted to get people excited about the next big game, and we used handmade skill and craft to draw people out to see and talk about it. Many thought this was AI or even “UE5 rendering.” Low expectations are understandable. But seeing the reaction confirmed the hype is at an all-time high. Whatever your favorite game is, I hope it gets announced. I hope the people making it feel confident enough to talk to you. I hope the physical world still plays a major role in the video game industry. Larian will continue to invest in meeting, being present, and being open with our audience directly, just as the audience is clearly excited and engaged. The level of skill and craftsmanship in creative spaces is higher than ever. I hope we can make time to go out and see and appreciate it. Physical interaction between the process and the audience maintains a crucial level of mutual respect. It is perfectly fine to be crazy about video games, and when we are ready, we look forward to meeting you on the road to *Divinity*. Oh, and thanks for not burning it down.
Hey everyone. First off, thank you for voting for us at The Game Awards—it means the world to us. Your support literally energizes our whole team while we work on the game every day. We revealed *Divinity*. This was Hellstone, our little game just to mess with you a bit. It was really fun seeing you guys guess what game was hidden, and now you know, it's *Divinity*. This is going to be a special game. It's going to be our biggest game, and we're pouring everything we have in the studio into it. All the experience we’ve built up over the last 30 years is going into this game, and I think you’re going to really love it when you see it. Keep following and subscribing. You'll see lots of updates at some point down the road. We’re still working on it, so it will take a little bit of time, but I think you're going to really, really like it when we finally reveal the gameplay. Thank you, take care everyone. Bye! That's it.

"Everyone is completely losing it because Larian is cooking up a game bigger than BG3, especially since Sven loves to YOLO millions into making masterpieces. (P.S. The debate about why BG3 didn't get DLC never ends.)"
