Right now, Hogwarts Legacy is free, and starting December 18th, they're giving away one free game every day, following the list above.
It's good to grab them, kinda like doing your daily attendance check!
FYI, these are mostly games that got good reviews on Steam too, so definitely recommend snagging them.
Steam Reviews (As of 25.12.14) 1. Hogwarts Legacy / Very Positive (90%, 255,637 reviews) 2. Jurassic World Evolution 2 / Very Positive (90%, 37,126 reviews) 3. Desperados 3 / Overwhelmingly Positive (96%, 11,170 reviews) 4. Tropico 5 / Mostly Positive (78%, 9,705 reviews) 5. Chicken Police โ Paint it RED! / Overwhelmingly Positive (95%, 1,547 reviews) 6. Loop Hero / Very Positive (92%, 32,934 reviews) 7. Commander Keen / Very Positive (93%, 1,425 reviews) 8. Farming Simulator 22 / Very Positive (92%, 65,970 reviews) 9. Slime Rancher 2 / Very Positive (94%, 39,066 reviews) 10. Terraria / Overwhelmingly Positive (97%, 1,161,697 reviews) 11. Detroit: Become Human / Overwhelmingly Positive (96%, 167,901 reviews) 12. Red Dead Redemption 2 / Very Positive (92%, 749,698 reviews) The more reviews there are, the more proven it is, and the better the score, the less polarizing it is. Generally, if itโs Very Positive (90%+ recommended) or higher, you probably wonโt be disappointed and it's likely a fun game.
Since games are really based on personal preference, it's kinda hard to recommend, but...
If I had to pick just 4 games I personally recommend:
1. Red Dead Redemption 2. This game is famous even among non-gamers because of the horse *ball* detail by the GTA developers. If you only grab one, make sure it's this one. It's a Western open-world game where the map is dense with content, and the details are so high-level youโll think, "Wait, they cared about *this* much?" It's a masterpiece.

2. Terraria. Famous as the 2D side-view Minecraft. It's a sandbox game where you build houses, explore caves, fight bosses... it's a game where time just melts away. It's been out forever, but it still sells 6 million copies a year. A total S-tier game.
3. Slime Rancher 2. This game is still piping hot, having come out less than 3 months ago. They're giving this away even though sales haven't failed? Known as the 3D Slime Stardew Valley, Slime Rancher 2 is a game where you catch wild slimes and run a ranch. It has adventure elements, and the slimes are so cute that it's a total time-killer.

4. Detroit: Become Human. The definitive title in the interactive movie genre. Think of it as a movie-like game where you intervene with choices to create the ending. Unlike a movie where the ending is set, your choices determine the results and ultimately the ending, making it super immersive.
Since games are highly subjective, it's hard to know until you try them, but if it's 90%+ positive reviews and it's a genre you like, there's a good chance you'll enjoy it! Everyone, have fun gaming this holiday season!
