
Carl Bushby, who started walking 58,000 km back home in November '98.
He thought it would end in 2012, but it got way longer and is still going. They say he’s now estimating finishing around September 2026.

He was even detained in Russia and Panama.


For straits he couldn't walk across, he crossed on the ice, and when the ice wasn't frozen, he spent long periods just waiting.

He showed insane mental fortitude by swimming about 260 km between Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan.
Now only about 2900 km left. He’s expected to return to the warm embrace of his family around spring/summer...
