Woke up at 5:50 AM on Sunday, brushed my teeth, and drove down. Like a dummy, I barely took any photos... Got there at 8 AM and the line was already long.

Bought two cakes and a few breads and left. Went to the central market, ate sundae-guk for breakfast, wandered around a bit, and then tried fried bananas and sugarcane juice at some Vietnamese (?) place that was selling them.

Checked out Shinsegae for a bit, and since I was stuffed, I ate something simple at the B1 food court. Then went to Hanbit Tower for photos, and bought more bread at HareHare. I bought 4 or 5 other things besides that.

On the way home, the navi said 2 hours 50 minutes, but luckily since it was Sunday afternoon, it only took about 2 hours 15 minutes. Got home and unboxed the cake.

The fruit was fresh and delicious. The chocolate sponge and banana actually went quite well together. Maybe it's because I'm getting old, but waking up at 6 AM, driving 4.5 hours round trip, and running around was so exhausting that I passed out at 9 PM. Even while I was touring Daejeon, I was mostly napping at cafes... Doing two day trips is too hard now.
"We're all salivating over the haul from the 'Sungsimdang Kingdom,' which apparently has massive parking lots. There's a mini-debate about whether the famous chocolate-fruit cake is too sweet (the 'Ant-Humans' say no), but the important thing is the wait time was only 20 minutes!"
