Itโs none other than Logan Allen, who played in the KBO league as a foreign player for the NC Dinos in 2025.

Today, a photo popped up on Loganโs Insta storyโa retirement shoutout from wrestling GOAT John Cena showing the two of them shaking handsโso an NC fanboy decided to do some Googling.

While doing that, he found an article that introduced Logan as "John Cenaโs friend," so he dug deeper.

The article says that back when Logan hadn't debuted in the big leagues yet, he met John Cena at a steakhouse in Tampa Bay, and they got pretty close chatting for a long time. Cena, wanting to motivate Logan who dreamed of an MLB debut, made a joke bet: "I bet you won't make it to the big leagues," and wagered a single dollar. The condition of the bet was that if Logan made it to the MLB, Cena would give him a personally autographed dollar bill; if he didn't debut, Logan would give Cena a dollar instead.

About a year and five months later, on June 19, 2019, he got called up to the MLB and had a successful debut against the Milwaukee Brewers, tossing 7 innings, allowing 5 Ks, 2 walks, and 0 earned runs.
And then Cena came to congratulate him and hand over that autographed dollar, making Logan's MLB debut even more heartwarming.

"The Cena fandom is strong in the comments, with everyone immediately referencing his iconic entrance music."
