Rúben Amorim, post-match interview: It was an interesting game. We started really well, and the first half was great. The result absolutely should have been different. We briefly lost concentration and conceded two goals. But we managed to bring the game back to parity, and we scored two goals ourselves. We should have ended the game right there. We need to think about how to maintain composure and see out the game, rather than just blindly charging back into attack. There were many positives, but also many things we need to improve.
The reason we often don't win isn't because of formation issues, whether it's a four-back, three-back, or five-back. What we need to refine are the small details and the ability to read the flow of the game. We need to be more clinical. Especially since we created so many opportunities to win today against a very good team.
"Amorim is trying to deflect blame from his precious 3-back formation, but the fans are roasting him, saying he's just a stubborn 'details' merchant who plays like a LoL Bronze one-trick."
