The price is starting to drop. This includes the original, not just the zero sugar variants.
I thought they’d never lower it, but they ended up only being able to compete if they match Pepsi’s price.
Even at E-Mart, 490ml cans (zero or original) are 7,000 KRW for 5 (about 1,400 KRW each), and the 500ml plastic bottles are 1+1 for about 1,300 KRW per bottle across the entire lineup. GS25 is also selling 5 for 7,000 KRW, making it 1,400 KRW each.
Before this, the prices were ridiculously evil: 1.5L for 4,080 KRW, 500ml bottle for 2,300 KRW, and 350ml can for 2,300 KRW. That's how expensive it was.
The normalization of prices, as expected, was the work of... God-si... King-si (Pepsi)...!!
"Everyone is cheering on the downfall of Coke's arrogant pricing, agreeing that Pepsi Zero is the real MVP. Tastes better, and less corporate greed? Win-win."
