Amazon selling Chinese traditional clothes 'Hanfu' marked as 'Hanbok': Nate News

Professor Seo Kyung-duk of Sungshin Women's University
On the 16th, he stated on his social media that "it was determined that the seller was using 'Hanbok' as a keyword in the product description while actually selling Chinese traditional clothing." He added that although the seller's nationality hasn't been officially confirmed, they are presumed to be a Chinese company.
Professor Seo emphasized, "We plan to officially request Amazon to correct this error," and stressed that "even the globally authoritative Oxford English Dictionary (OED) clearly defines Hanbok as 'Korean traditional dress'."
"People are annoyed that Hanfu sellers are using 'Hanbok' tags to sneak into the Hallyu wave. Why covet our culture? Maybe they're just embarrassed of their own clothes, lol. Others are worried that this constant mislabeling is going to lead to foreigners thinking things like Mala Tang are Korean too."
