(I'm not picky about movies, I enjoy good killing time fodder, I'm happy with great visuals, and I don't nitpick plot or clichรฉs or that kind of stuff.)
First off, if you liked the original Avatar style, I super duper highly recommend it. The story moves along densely packed with zero boring or loose scenesโyou won't even notice how much time has passed! Sometimes, in scenes specifically designed for 3D or 4D, the quality gets better and the viewpoint shifts slightly, which feels a little different, but it absolutely doesn't ruin the viewing experience. It's more like, "Oh, if I watched this specific scene in 3D or 4D, it would feel way more vivid and alive."
"The visuals are a 5/5 slam dunk, making everyone regret canceling their tickets. Now, if only we could figure out what "Onthology" is and find a neighborhood that actually has 3D!"
