I used to get paid when the exchange rate was around 1100–1200 KRW/USD and I invested in the US. Now it’s almost 1500 KRW/USD. This basically means I’m operating on a 30% pay cut right now...
My salary got cut by 30%, but imported goods prices shot up, so the money flying out just for breathing has increased. I’m seriously dying here.
I wish someone would do something about the exchange rate. Isn't 1480 KRW/USD literally an economic crisis? Honestly, I don't even know what the government is doing.
