On December 15th, a fire broke out at a luxury private sauna located in Akasaka, Minato-ku, Tokyo, resulting in the death of a visiting couple in their 30s.

Responding firefighters searched for victims, and upon using a master key to open a locked private room, they found two people collapsed face-down and deceased right in front of the door.

The doorknob had broken off, making it impossible to open the door from the inside, and there were signs that they had desperately struggled to open the door until their very last moments.

There was an emergency bell inside the private room, but it wasn't working (presumed due to battery depletion).

The deceased husband in his 30s was the CEO of a fairly famous company in the Japanese beauty industry, and his wife was also a well-known influencer.
Because this shocking accident happened due to an overload of coincidences, all sorts of speculation are running wild right now. ๐ค
"Itโs basically Final Destination: Luxury Sauna Edition. Users are debating the safety mechanisms and calling for Detective Conan because the series of failures (broken door, dead battery) is just too much BS misfortune."
