Dongnae High, a prestigious football club in Busan (Director Lee Seung-yeop), has produced a player for a Spanish first-division team. Dongnae High captain Lee Young-woong (18) is heading to Spain. He'll join Real Oviedo later this year. Real Oviedo just clinched promotion for the 2024-25 season, returning to La Liga (the 1st division) after 24 years of grinding!

According to football insiders, Real Oviedo had Lee Young-woong on their radar even when they were in the lower divisions. Though some K League teams started checking him out when he was in his final year of high school, Lee Young-woong decided to chase his European dream and challenged Real Oviedo. He crushed the entrance test, competing against players from many countries, putting everything out there on the training pitch.
