Following the disappointing defeat away at Nottingham Forest, itโs unlikely Tottenham will have an immediate reaction. After the 3-0 loss at the City Ground, Thomas Frankโs future is once again under the spotlight. This isnโt the first time this season that a defeat has made Spurs fans vent their rage at the manager. However, despite the poor performance shown against Forest, there is currently no sense that his future is under immediate threat. Tottenham had been unbeaten in three consecutive matches leading up to Sundayโs defeat. They followed a 2-2 draw away at Newcastle with consecutive wins against Brentford and Slavia Prague. There were signs of improvement before the loss to Sean Dycheโs team, which is why Sundayโs defeat is unlikely to lead to immediate change. That doesn't mean that internal support for Frank is completely unified, though. Following the home loss against Fulham on November 29th, when they hit a worrying patch of only one win in eight recent games, we reported that Frank's performance was increasingly under internal review. The clear antipathy shown by some fans toward Frank during the early season also hasn't been overlooked internally. But Tottenham hasn't seriously considered dismissing Frank this season yet. While thereโs an acknowledgment that there will be inconsistency, Frank can't afford too many more Sundays like that if the previously mentioned questions arenโt to become more prominent again in the coming weeks.

It is also important to note that CEO Venkat (Kroenke is the owner, but the text says CEO Venkatesham) played a crucial role in the decision to continue trusting Mikel Arteta during his toughest period at Arsenal. Arsenal is now widely regarded as one of the strongest teams in European football. While Frank still has a long way to go to catch up to Arteta, for now, there's a willingness to give him the chance to build the foundation toward similar success. However, results will be key to this continued support. If disappointing results like Sundayโs are repeated, support for Frank will weaken. https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/articles/czdg8nv8nlro
"Everyone's roasting the comparison, asking if Frank actually has the 'Arteta DNA' or the respect from the squad (referencing the Van de Ven drama). Consensus: don't sack him yet, but if he doesn't pull results soon, he's toast."
