I bought the seedlings thinking if they didn't do well, I'd just let them die (though I did the basics like watering, occasional pruning, and fertilizing). It was amazing that they kept bearing fruit. The taste was just plain good, nothing super special, just regular strawberry flavor.

This is the only photo I have. It was so hot then that the fruits were tiny, but later when it cooled down, I got pretty big and sweet strawberries, though maybe not as big as the ones you buy at the mart (of course, not all of them survived; a few shriveled up and died).

Here's a comparison: a giant strawberry (picked from an orchard). I tried this two years ago, but it was a total fail because the birds ate all the berries. Maybe it's because we adopted a cat this time, but the birds haven't been bothering them much. I usually just post random scraped photos, but I wanted to write something more genuine, so I uploaded this. If this was entertaining / if you find the poster who only uploads junk funny, please drop a recommendation (upvote)!
