[MARCA] Araujo finishes Israel trip, planning return in 2 weeks
Ronald Araujo’s return is getting close.
Araujo went on an indefinite hiatus after suffering anxiety symptoms following his red card against Chelsea. He recently returned after finishing his trip to Israel.
Araujo, a devout Christian, visited Jerusalem and various holy sites seeking spiritual comfort. His recovery is progressing smoothly.
Araujo is planning his return for the first match of the second half of the season, against Espanyol on January 3rd. He will return to training with his teammates on December 29th after his break.
Araujo plans to spend the Christmas holiday with his family in Uruguay, which will greatly aid his recovery.
Since the Chelsea match, Araujo has not participated in team training but has maintained his condition through individual workouts.
