This is Sergeant Lee Myeong-soo (ROK Marine, Blue Dragon 2nd Brigade, 1st Battalion) looking at his bullet-pierced helmet. A war correspondent apparently snapped the pic because it was so wild. Normally, back then, if you doodled on your helmet like that, you'd get instantly chewed out, but since he survived being sniped multiple times, his Battalion Commander gave him a special pass.
He still keeps that helmet at home. After getting discharged, he lived as a pastor, retired from that, and is now just living life as a regular dude.
