Kia K5 getting a second 'facelift'... lifespan extended until 2030

According to the auto parts industry, Kia has confirmed that they have started developing the second partial change model for the K5 (Project name DL3 PE2), aiming for a launch in the first half of 2027. The annual production target for the new K5 has been set at over 80,000 units.

With Kia confirming the launch of the new K5 model in 2027, the K5 is expected to be sold until at least 2030. Despite the trend toward electric vehicles, Kia is not discontinuing the K5 but improving its marketability through two facelifts to minimize development costs and extend the vehicle's life cycle.
