I wore my Gradus Blucher 08 for a few years and sent it in for a resole, and they effed up the repair like this. The first response I got said there was no issue because it's a single unit construction. Do you guys think this looks right?? Right now, the front and back heights are completely mismatched, so only the front part of the heel is sticking up and bearing weight. Are they trying to absolutely wreck my feet or something...
(Second Response) Maybe it’s because I posted this, but I consulted with them and we decided on a refund. They kept insisting that this is normal for a resole and that it will conform to my foot as I wear it, but I just couldn't wear them like that... so I'm glad they gave me the refund. Next time, I really think they should give proper notice beforehand or just refuse the repair if they can’t do it right.
"Shoemakers transform OP's loafers into bizarre heels and try to gaslight them by claiming 'it's normal.' Thank god OP got the refund."
