First, the religion doing the most social service is Christianity (=Protestantism + Catholicism). Especially among the extremely marginalized (orphans, seniors with dementia, etc.), the volunteer ratio for Christians is extremely high.

The fact is, the vast majority are 'Hacco' (small-time) pastors with fewer than 300 members. Churches are only considered mega-churches starting around 1000 members, and as you can see, that ratio isn't even 10%.
Honestly, communities always use this picture to push the narrative that Christianity as a whole is a corrupt rich religion (and yes, there are definitely tons of disgusting believers. That's a fact). But using the 5% of mega-church pastors to conclude, 'All Christian pastors rake in tens of thousands in offerings and don't pay taxes,' is a generalization on the level of looking at Baek Jong-won and thinking, 'All restaurant owners are living like Daimyos.'
