Jesse Lingard, who previously had a loan spell at West Ham, is desperate for a Premier League return after spending about two years in Korea with FC Seoul.
He registered 67 appearances and 19 goals across all competitions during his time in Korea.
This was first exclusively revealed yesterday on the Hammers Chat Patreon through a conversation with a source very close to the player.
This morning, Claret & Hugh spoke with a source involved in the current West Ham transfer negotiations, and that source confirmed the following:
“Jesse Lingard has entered negotiations with West Ham.”
As reported in yesterday’s Hammers Chat update, there is one more Premier League team showing interest in Lingard.
However, the information we received this morning suggests West Ham is currently the most likely destination for his signature.
