Min Hee-jin and Kim Ki-hyun, the CEO of Bana (the company where 250, who composed several NewJeans songs, is affiliated), were former lovers. It's rumored she acquired the company name ADOR from Kim Ki-hyun for 100 million won (KRW).
Specifically, Min Hee-jin revealed that day that Mr. Kim, the CEO of Bana, was her ex-boyfriend. Regarding the promise to give Mr. Kim a part of the put options, she stated, “I wrote that agreement with Mr. Kim because I wanted to. I promised to give him a portion if I received the put option.” She explained, “He’s not my current boyfriend, and Kim Ki-won is a highly capable person. He produced every one of NewJeans' songs. I couldn't formally give stock options to someone like that. I had to provide compensation, and since I couldn’t use company money, I gave it from my personal share, seeing that as permissible.”
They say this is also why rumors spread that she signed a contract with Bana after declaring NewJeans’ contracts null and void.
"Netizens are disgusted by the detailed drama surrounding ADOR's origins and MHJ's complicated history, pointing out the hypocrisy of her dragging other groups while dealing with all this mess."
