The fact that everyone is testifying, uniformly, "I thought Injection Auntie was a doctor," is seriously, super, ultra important.

According to the law, having *anyone* who isn't a medical professional perform medical procedures is illegal. If they received the procedure knowing Injection Auntie wasn't a doc, that becomes an act of "instigating a violation of the Medical Services Act."

But if, as everyone testifies, "I thought she was a doctor," the situation changes. If the situation is that Injection Auntie deceived them by pretending to be a doctor or equivalent medical professional, and they believed her and got the procedure, their position actually flips closer to that of a victim.
"This testimony is the classic 'I was deceived, I swear!' defense. It's far better than admitting, 'I knew it was illegal but I needed that convenient house call.' Smart legal play."
