A 5m long moving walkway installed on the pedestrian path connecting Magok Station and Magoknaru Station.
It's ridiculously short, so usage is low, plus the Gangseo-gu Office (the controlling authority) has been getting tons of complaints.

The Gangseo-gu Office's official word regarding the complaints is:
It was originally meant to boost convenience for using the underground passage, but the developer opposed it due to reasons like maintenance costs and fire facility installation on private land sections. So, only the public land section—the 5m walkway you see in the photo—got installed.
However, like they just said, a private developer installed it, so Gangseo-gu tax money wasn't used.
Since the complaints keep rolling in, the Gangseo-gu Office is now reviewing its removal.

"Is it an escalator for ants or an acceleration pad? Also, if private funds paid for the flop, does the gu-cheong even have the right to demolish it? Big brain time."
