Since there’s been so much talk about the Tesla FSD tests in Korea recently, I brought over this video showing a drive test through a major roundabout.
It's a large and complicated rotary, but since the camera views and processes front, back, left, and right simultaneously, it surprisingly manages to pass through well.
After passing, while moving to enter the rotary again, it saw a bus stopped in the far right lane picking up passengers and automatically changed lanes to go around it.
Rotary test one more time.
It navigates the complex roundabout by autonomously checking the status of vehicles front, back, left, and right.
It moves from the left lane all the way to the right lane while checking its surroundings.
Successfully moved to the intended exit.
One more test. This time, as soon as the traffic light inside the rotary turned red, it stopped at the halt line, and once the light turned green, it passed through the rotary and exited successfully.
A look at it making a U-turn to head to the next test. It handles the U-turn without any major problems. Source: Smiling Global Village Gallery [View Original]
"The consensus is that FSD is ready for prime time! Better than 60+ drivers, crushing the competition, and giving domestic brands (the 'weapons') a death sentence. Now we just need to know if it can handle the infamous Busan fighting-style driving."
