The Galaxy XR, released by Samsung on October 22nd, is the first Korean VR headset we've seen in a long time.
Known by its codename 'Moohan,' it features dual 4K OLEDs with 4032 PPI—even sharper than the Vision Pro. The design follows Meta's Quest Pro, making it much lighter and less pressuring than the Vision Pro. After some light modding with a top strap, the comfort is top-tier, similar to the Quest Pro. While the weight distribution isn't quite as perfect as the Quest Pro, the comfort is incomparable to the agony of the Vision Pro... it feels almost like wearing a hat. I've been using it for about two months since launch, and here are some pros compared to the Vision Pro.
