Surprisingly?! I meant that in a positive way lol My biggest worries when taking a taxi in winter were: 1. The smell of cigarettes from the driver smoking inside the car while waiting for passengers. 2. Turning the heater up to the max because it's winter, making it hot, dry, and stuffy. But it was the complete opposite of what I feared—super pleasant. The car was clean and the radio was playing quietly. (Though I had my earphones in just in case the driver was a chatterbox.) I was thinking, 'Man, I'm lucky today, should I post this on Bullpen?' then I started thinking, 'Wait, shouldn't this be the norm?' and dozed off for a bit. We were almost there, but I noticed the fare stopped increasing for the last few minutes of the ride. When I asked, the driver said he took a slight detour by mistake earlier, so he stopped the meter for that portion. I was dozing off so I didn't even notice, and honestly, the fare and time were actually a bit less than what I originally expected lol. I thought, 'Wow, there are still people like this,' so I did the only thing I could: I didn't use my card and let him keep the change (it was only a few hundred won, but still). Started my day on a high note thanks to him. I even left my first-ever Kakao T review haha.
"A wholesome story about a clean taxi and an honest driver that has everyone feeling warm and fuzzy, while some users are busy roleplaying as Prosecutor Joo-yang from the movie 'The Unjust'."
