When you can't handle how cute something is, you sometimes get the urge to tease it. If that goes overboard, you end up with the "Abuse Faction" who turn mascot characters into abuse memes.
Still, I don't think they're normal. Most people agree with the Class Rep in the post that "cute aggression" stops at wanting to "tease them a bit."
