A group of former Samsung employees has been indicted for leaking core, independently developed semiconductor technology to a Chinese firm after jumping ship, severely undermining national competitiveness.
Experts point out that these so-called 'industrial traitors' keep appearing because of serious loopholes in the legal system, where even when caught, they only receive 'cotton-baton punishments' (slaps on the wrist).
