Sold about 154 copies at $4 each. - To be considered 'successful' by Steam's standards, total revenue usually needs to hit $1,000. - Honestly, for the store to actually consider you 'successful' and give you proper exposure, you need to hit like $50k. I cleared that, and I've never even seen a chocolate wrapper.

You don't even have to be a dev. Some friends of mine sent a wedding invite to Gabe as a joke (they met doing TF2 cosplays at Comic-Con). Steam sent them a huge haul of free items.
